How will I be able to identify the Virgin Media Broadband installation team?

Easy, they'll arrive in one of our Virgin Media vans. They'll be carrying identity badges, too.


How does the Broadband connection actually come into my home?

We run a thin cable from our network to your home (under your garden where appropriate). We then fix a small junction box discreetly to the outside of your property.


Will I be able to see any wiring?

We'll do everything we can to make sure the wiring inside your home is as discreet as possible. The wires usually run around the edge of your skirting board to the TV, computer and phone points.


Do I need any special equipment?

Not at all. Any TV, DVD player or telephone will be compatible. The best way to connect broadband is via an Ethernet Port. If you don't have an Ethernet Port then don't worry we can use a USB port (what you use when you plug in your iPod or digital camera) if you have a spare one! Our installer will have everything to get you up and running.

Macs will need an Ethernet Port as well, but most come with one already installed.

How do I get it all to work?

Once we've finished with the wires, we'll give you a full demo on how to use your new kit, before we leave. Plus, your user guides will tell you everything you need to know about the services.
