What's the difference between PAYG Dial Up and Broadband?

Unlike broadband, Dial Up internet services use the same line as your phone. That means you can't make or receive phone calls when you're online. Dial Up speeds are much slower than even the most basic broadband speeds, which means that you will have to stay online longer waiting for pages to open or for emails to send.
